1/2 was feeling poorly and I stayed at home with her yesterday. We didn't leave the house the whole day but didn't sit in front of the TV the whole time either.
For lunch I was going to make some congee (Chinese overcooked bland rice which is my ultimate comfort and feeling unwell food). 1/2 isn't keen on congee but loves noodles so for lunch I made glass noodles with a splash of vinegar, udon noodles with hot soya and oyster sauce stock and won ton, fish balls and greens.
Honest home cooked Chinese food to make 1/2 feel better. Hope she has fond memories.
