I always try and keep some pre-marinated protein in the freezer which helps.
How to pre-marinate?
- Cut your meat into strips (say a chicken breast)
- In a bowl add a splash of soya sauce, bit teaspoon of honey and a splash of sesame oil (make up your own, honey and soy is what we like).
- Then you can freeze it in portions, take it out to defrost before cooking
If you use some pre-marinated meat, first cook the meat then throw in your veggies afterwards. You shouldn't need to add any additional stir-fry sauce as your meat and the marinade will provide it. Thicken it up with some corn flour.
Serve with rice or noodles.
