Stir-fry to use up your veg!

Says it all really, if you want a healthy dinner and use up some veg then do a stir fry!

I always try and keep some pre-marinated protein in the freezer which helps.

How to pre-marinate?

  1. Cut your meat into strips (say a chicken breast)
  2. In a bowl add a splash of soya sauce, bit teaspoon of honey and a splash of sesame oil (make up your own, honey and soy is what we like).
  3. Then you can freeze it in portions, take it out to defrost before cooking
If you use some pre-marinated meat, first cook the meat then throw in your veggies afterwards. You shouldn't need to add any additional stir-fry sauce as your meat and the marinade will provide it. Thicken it up with some corn flour.

Serve with rice or noodles.
